COMMEMORATING WORLD AIDS DAY & DAY 8 OF 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE


Civil Society for HIV and AIDS in Nigeria (CISHAN), Ethiope East chapter, led by Activist Goodluck Wisdom, Executive Director of Ethiope Development Initiative Foundation, partnered with the Nigeria Red Cross Society to promote HIV/AIDS awareness in Abraka, Ethiope East LGA, Delta State.


Activist Goodluck Wisdom emphasized the urgent need to end all forms of gender-based violence, stating, "Violence against women, such as rape, lack of empowerment, and inadequate health services, serves as a vehicle driving the HIV/AIDS epidemic."







Let's unite to end gender-based violence against women, a crucial step in combating HIV/AIDS, especially mother-to-child transmission.
